Sahih Muslim Book - 33, Hadith - 4708

حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الأَزْدِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « لاَ يَزَالُ الإِسْلاَمُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَىْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ». ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا فَقُلْتُ لأَبِى مَا قَالَ فَقَالَ « كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ».

It was narrated that Simak bin Harb said: I heard Jabir bin Samurah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: "Islam will continue to prevail through twelve caliphs." Then he said something that I did not understand, and I said to my father: "What did he say?" He said: "All of them will be from the Quraish."
