1991

The Beginning:

ISL Software launched the first version of The Alim.
Released both Playhouse and core Alim software on CD-ROM.
Arabic Playhouse was an interactive tool to teach kids Arabic and small surahs.
The CD-ROM versions were discontinued in favor of online services. Due to limited resources, Alim Foundation does not support the Arabic Playhouse CD-ROM version.
