It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a deed which, if I do it, I will enter Paradise." He said: "Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish the prescribed Salat, pay the obligatory Zakat and observe fast (in the month of) Ramadan." He said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! I shall never do any more than that or any less." When he turned to leave, the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "Whoever would like to see a man from the people of Paradise, let him look at this man."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
