Sahih Muslim Book - 7, Hadith - 1975
وَحَدَّثَنِى أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَعَلِىُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِىُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مَخْرَمَةُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى بُرْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِى مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِىِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَسَمِعْتَ أَبَاكَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى شَأْنِ سَاعَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَقُولُ « هِىَ مَا بَيْنَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ الإِمَامُ إِلَى أَنْ تُقْضَى الصَّلاَةُ ».
It was narrated that Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa Al-Ash'ari said: 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said to me: "Did you hear your father narrating from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) concerning the (special) time on Friday?" I said: "Yes, I heard him say: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: It is between the time when the Imam sits down, until the prayer is over.'"
