Sahih Muslim Book - 7, Hadith - 1961
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِى إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ قَوْلَ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى الْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ. قَالَ طَاوُسٌ فَقُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَيَمَسُّ طِيبًا أَوْ دُهْنًا إِنْ كَانَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِهِ قَالَ لاَ أَعْلَمُهُ.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that he mentioned what the Prophet (s.a.w) said about performing Ghusl on Friday. Tawus said: "I said to Ibn 'Abbas: 'And should he put on perfume or oil, if his family has some?' He said: 'I do not know about that.'"
