Sahih Muslim Book - 6, Hadith - 1672
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِىُّ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَوْصَانِى خَلِيلِى -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بِثَلاَثٍ بِصِيَامِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَرَكْعَتَىِ الضُّحَى وَأَنْ أُوتِرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْقُدَ.
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "My close friend (s.a.w) advised me to do three things: 'To fast three days of every month, to pray two Rak'ah of Duha, and to pray Witr before going to sleep."'
