وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ إِدْرِيسَ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ لِى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ ». ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ.
'Asim bin Kulaib narrated it with this chain of narrators. He said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said to me: 'Say: Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda was-sadad (O Allah I ask You for guidance and steadfastness)."' Then he mentioned something similar (to Hadith no. 6911).
