حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامَ الْعَيْشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَسِيرُ فِي طَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ فَمَرَّ عَلَى جَبَلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ جُمْدَانُ ، فَقَالَ : سِيرُوا هَذَا جُمْدَانُ سَبَقَ الْمُفَرِّدُونَ قَالُوا : وَمَا الْمُفَرِّدُونَ ؟ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، قَالَ : الذَّاكِرُونَ اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا ، وَالذَّاكِرَاتُ.
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was traveling on the road to Makkah, and he passed by a mountain called Jumdan. He said: 'Proceed, this is Jumdan; the Mufarridun have gone on ahead.' They said: 'Who are the Mufarridun, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'The men and women who remember Allah a great deal."'
