وحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ (ح) وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَحَانَتْ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ ، فَالْتَمَسَ النَّاسُ الْوَضُوءَ ، فَلَمْ يَجِدُوهُ ، فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَضُوءٍ ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ذَلِكَ الإِنَاءِ يَدَهُ ، وَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّؤُوا مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : فَرَأَيْتُ الْمَاءَ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ تَحْتِ أَصَابِعِهِ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ النَّاسُ حَتَّى تَوَضَّؤُوا مِنْ عِنْدِ آخِرِهِمْ.
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) when the time of ‘Asr came. The people looked for water and could not find any. Some water for Wudu’ was brought to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he put his hand in that vessel and told the people to perform Wudu’ from it. I saw the water springing from beneath his fingers, and the people performed Wudu’ from it, down to the last of them.
