Mu'awiyah bin Suwaid bin Muqarrin said: "I entered upon Al-Bara' bin 'Azib and I heard him say: 'The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) enjoined seven things upon us and he forbade seven things for us. He commanded us to visit the sick, to attend funerals, to reply (to say: Yarhamuk Allah; (may Allah have mercy on you) to one who sneezes, to fulfill oaths or help fulfill an oath made by another, to help the one who has been wronged, to accept invitations and to spread the greeting of Salam. And he forbade us from wearing rings of gold, to drink from silver vessels, to use Mayathir, to wear Qasi, to wear silk, Istabraq and Dibaj."'
