Sahih Muslim Book - 35, Hadith - 5071
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ، فَقَالَ: لاَ يَذْبَحَنَّ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى نُصَلِّيَ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ خَالِي: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ اللَّحْمُ فِيهِ مَكْرُوهٌ ... ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ هُشَيْمٍ.
It was narrated that Al-Bara' bin 'Azib said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) addressed us on the Day of Sacrifice and said: 'No one should offer the sacrifice until we have prayed.' My maternal uncle said: 'O Messenger of Alla.h, this is a day when meat is not desirable,"' and he narrated a Hadith like that of Hushaim (no. 5070).
