Sahih Muslim Book - 33, Hadith - 4932
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِى سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى غَزَاةٍ فَقَالَ « إِنَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ لَرِجَالاً مَا سِرْتُمْ مَسِيرًا وَلاَ قَطَعْتُمْ وَادِيًا إِلاَّ كَانُوا مَعَكُمْ حَبَسَهُمُ الْمَرَضُ ».
It was narrated that Jabir said: "We were with the Prophet (s.a.w) on a campaign and he said: 'In Al-Madinah there are men and you have not covered any distance or crossed any valley but they were with you, but they were held back by sickness."'
