وَحَدَّثَنِى إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِى يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَرَبِيعَةُ الرَّأْىِ بْنُ أَبِى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِىِّ أَنَّ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الإِبِلِ. زَادَ رَبِيعَةُ فَغَضِبَ حَتَّى احْمَرَّتْ وَجْنَتَاهُ. وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ وَزَادَ « فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَعَرَفَ عِفَاصَهَا وَعَدَدَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا فَأَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ وَإِلاَّ فَهْىَ لَكَ ».
It was narrated from Yazid, the freed slave of Al-Munba'ith, from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani, that a man asked the Prophet (s.a.w) about a lost camel. Rabi'ah added: He (s.a.w) became so angry that his cheeks turned red... and he quoted a Hadith similar to their (no. 4502), and added (that the Prophet (s.a.w) said:) "If its owner comes and recognizes its bag, amount and strap, then give it to him, otherwise it is yours."
