Sahih Muslim Book - 3, Hadith - 691
و حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ نَاوِلِينِي الثَّوْبَ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ حَيْضَتَكِ لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ فَنَاوَلَتْهُ.
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "While the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was in the Masjid, he said: 'O 'Aishah, pass me the garment.' She said: 'I am menstruating.' He said: 'Your menstruation is not in your hand.' So she passed it to him."
