حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضْطَجِعُ مَعِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَبَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ ثَوْبٌ.
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: "While I was lying down with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) under a wool blanket, I menstruated. I slipped away and put on the dress I wore when menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said to me: 'Has your menses started?' I said: 'Yes.' Then he called me and I lay down with him under the wool blanket.'' Zainab bint Salama (a narrator) said: "She and the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) used to perform Ghusl together from a single vessel, in the case of Janabah."
