Sahih Muslim Book - 17, Hadith - 3571

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ أَفْلَحَ - أَخَا أَبِى الْقُعَيْسِ - جَاءَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيْهَا وَهُوَ عَمُّهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ بَعْدَ أَنْ أُنْزِلَ الْحِجَابُ قَالَتْ فَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِى صَنَعْتُ فَأَمَرَنِى أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ عَلَىَّ.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that Aflah, the brother of Abu Al-Qu'ais, came and asked for permission to enter upon her, who was her paternal uncle through breastfeeding, after (the command of) Hijab had been revealed. She said: "I refused to let him in, and when the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) came, I told him what I had done, and he told me to let him in."
