حَدَّثَنِى زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى - وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ - عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِى نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- بَاتَ بِذِى طَوًى حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ. قَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ. وَفِى رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ سَعِيدٍ حَتَّى صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ. قَالَ يَحْيَى أَوْ قَالَ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ.
It was narrated from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) stayed overnight in Dhu Tuwa until morning, then he entered Makkah. He said: “Abdullah used to do that.” In the report of (one of the narrators) Ibn Saeed it says: “Until he prayed Subh.” Yahya said: “Or he said: ‘Until morning came.’”
