حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ أَنَسًا - رضى الله عنه - أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعَ عُمَرٍ كُلُّهُنَّ فِى ذِى الْقَعْدَةِ إِلاَّ الَّتِى مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ عُمْرَةً مِنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَوْ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِى ذِى الْقَعْدَةِ وَعُمْرَةً مِنَ الْعَامِ الْمُقْبِلِ فِى ذِى الْقَعْدَةِ وَعُمْرَةً مِنْ جِعْرَانَةَ حَيْثُ قَسَمَ غَنَائِمَ حُنَيْنٍ فِى ذِى الْقَعْدَةِ وَعُمْرَةً مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ.
Qatadah narrated that Anas [may Allah be pleased with them] told him, that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) performed Umrah four times, all of them in Dhul-Qadah apart from the one, which he did with his Hajj: The Umrah from Al-Hudaybiyah or at the time of Al-Hudaybiyah, in Dhul-Qadah ; the Umrah following year, in Dhul-Qadah; Umrah from Jiranah, when he divided the spoils of Hunain in Dhul-Qadah; and Umrah with Hajj.
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
