قُلْ هُوَ ٱلْقَادِرُ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابًا مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ أَوْ مِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِكُمْ أَوْ يَلْبِسَكُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَكُم بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ ۗ ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَفْقَهُونَ

Qul huwa alq a diru AAal a an yabAAatha AAalaykum AAa tha ban min fawqikum aw min ta h ti arjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaAAan wayu th eeqa baAA d akum basa baAA d in on th ur kayfa nu s arrifu al a y a ti laAAallahum yafqahoon a

Say: "It is He alone who has the power to let loose upon you suffering from above you or from beneath your feet,⁵⁵ or to confound you with mutual discord and let you taste the fear of one another."⁵⁶ Behold how many facets We give to these messages, so that they might understand the truth;
