Surah 43. Az-Zukhruf, Ayah 8

فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ Qur’an Az-Zukhruf (43:8)

Faahlakn a ashadda minhum ba t shan wama da mathalu alawwaleen a

and so, [in the end,] We destroyed them [even though they were] of greater might than these:⁶ and the [very] image of those people of old became a thing of the past.
