Surah 42. Ash-Shura, Ayah 9
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ فَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ Qur’an Ash-Shura (42:9)Ami ittakha th oo min doonihi awliy a a fa A ll a hu huwa alwaliyyu wahuwa yu h yee almawt a wahuwa AAal a kulli shayin qadeer un
Did they, perchance, [think that they could] choose protectors other than Him? But God alone is the Protector [of all that exists], since it is He alone who brings the dead to life, and He alone who has the power to will anything.
