It is He Who sends down water from the sky, which providesdrinking water for you and brings forth fodder to pasture yourcattle.
With it He grows for you crops, olives, date-palms, grapes, andevery kind of fruit: surely there is a great sign in this forthose who think.
He is the One Who has made the earth a cradle for you, traced theroads on it for you to walk on; and sends down water from the skywith which We produce pairs of various kinds of vegetation
- eat from these yourselves and pasture your cattle. Surely thereare Signs in it for those who use their brains.
As for those who are unbelievers and debar others from the Way ofAllah and from the Masjid-al-Haram, to which We have assigned allmankind with equal rights whether they are natives or foreigners, and whoever intend to deviate from righteousness to wrongdoing inits vicinity, We will make him taste a painful punishment.
On the Day when He will assemble them all together, ( Allah willaddress the Jinns): "O assembly of Jinns! You seduced mankind ingreat number." And their votaries from among mankind will say:"Our Rabb, we have both enjoyed each other's fellowship but alas! Now we have reached the end of our term which You had decreed forus." Then Allah will say: "Now hellfire is your dwelling-place;you will live therein forever unless Allah ordains otherwise."Surely your Rabb is Wise, Knowledgeable.
That is how, in the hereafter, We will make wrongdoers thecomrades of one another on account of what they earned duringtheir life on Earth with evil friendship.
At that time Allah will also ask: "O Assembly of Jinns andmankind! Did not there come to you the Rasools from amongst youwho proclaimed to you My revelations and warned you about themeeting of this Day?" They will reply: "Yes they did, We bearwitness against our own souls." Today this worldly life hasdeceived them but on that Day they will testify againstthemselves that they were indeed kuffar (unbelievers).
That usury which you give to increase the wealth of people, doesnot increase with Allah: but the Zakah that you give to seek thepleasure of Allah, shall be repaid to you many times over.
You should know that your wealth and your children are, in fact,a test for you, and that Allah is He with Whom is your mightyreward.
We shall unite the true believers with those of their descendantswho follow them in their faith, and shall not deny them thereward of their good deeds - everyone is responsible for hisdeeds
- and We shall provide them fruits, and such meats as theydesire.
They will pass from hand to hand a cup of wine which shall causeno idle talk, nor sinful urge;
and there shall wait for them young boys, exclusively appointedfor their service, who will be as handsome as treasured pearls.
They will converse with one another about their worldly life
and say: "When we were living among our kinfolk, we were troubledby many fears.
But Allah has been gracious to us; He has delivered us from thefiery scourge.
Indeed we used to pray only to Him. Surely He is the Beneficent, the Merciful."
Have you noticed the words of that person who rejects OurRevelations yet boasts: "I shall always be given wealth andchildren".
Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen or has he been awarded acontract by the Compassionate (Allah)?
By no means! We write down what he says and We will make hispunishment long and terrible.
We will inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come back toUs all alone leaving all these things behind.
Surely neither their wealth nor their children will save theunbelievers from the wrath of Allah: they are the ones who willbecome the fuel for Hell fire.
Surely for those who are unbelievers, neither their wealth northeir children shall in the least protect them from the wrath ofAllah; they will be the inmates of hellfire and live thereinforever.
When We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourself before Adam," all prostrated themselves except Iblees (Shaitan), who was one of the Jinns and chose to disobey the command of his Rabb. Would you then take him and his children as your protectors rather than Me, even though they are your enemies? What a bad substitute the wrongdoers have chosen!

We have enjoined man to treat his parents with kindness. Withmuch trouble his mother bore him, and much pain did she give himbirth. His bearing and his weaning took thirty months. When hereaches the age of full strength and becomes forty years old, hesays: "My Rabb! Grant me the grace that I may thank you for thefavors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and thatI may do good deeds that will please You, and grant me goodchildren. Surely I turn to You in repentance and surely I am ofthose who are Muslims."
Such are the people from whom We shall accept the best of theirdeeds and overlook their misdeeds. They shall be among theresidents of paradise: true is the promise that has been made tothem in this life.
You should know that your wealth and your children are, in fact,a test for you, and that Allah is He with Whom is your mightyreward.
Let neither their wealth nor their children dazzle you: inreality Allah intends to punish them with these things in thislife and that their souls may depart while they are stillunbelievers.
Let neither their wealth nor their children dazzle you. Throughthese Allah wants to punish them in this world and let theirsouls depart while they are still disbelievers.
O believers! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet withoutpermission, nor stay waiting for meal time: but if you areinvited to a meal, enter, and when you have eaten disperse and donot seek long conversation. Such behavior annoys the Prophet, hefeels shy in asking you to leave, but Allah does not feel shy intelling the truth. If you have to ask his wives for anything, speak to them from behind a curtain. This is more chaste for yourhearts and for theirs. It is not proper for you to annoy theRasool of Allah, nor ever to marry his wives after him; thiswould be a grievous offence in the sight of Allah.
O believers! Know that mushrikin are unclean; therefore, do notlet them come near the Masjid-al-Haram after this year'spilgrimage. If you fear poverty, soon Allah - if He so wills -enrich you out of His bounty. Allah is All-Knowledgeable,All-Wise.
Ask them: "Which is better, this hell or the eternal paradisewhich the righteous are being promised, which will be the rewardof their good deeds and also their final destination;
wherein they will live forever and get everything that they wishfor: and this is the promise worth praying for, which your Rabbis going to fulfill."
Indeed Allah has purchased from the believers their persons andtheir wealth and in return has promised them paradise; they fightin the cause of Allah and slay and are slain. This is a truepromise which is binding on Him mentioned in Taurat (Torah), theInjeel (Gospel) and the Qur'an; and who is more true infulfilling his promise than Allah? Rejoice, therefore, in thebargain which you have made, and that is a mighty achievement.
the torment of your Rabb will surely come to pass!
There shall be none to avert it.
Say: "I do not know whether the punishment that you arethreatened with is near or whether my Rabb has set for it adistant term.
Surely, that which you are being promised, shall be fulfilled.
that it rests upon Him to grant the second life (the life ofhereafter),
Shaitan makes promises to stir up in them false desires; butShaitan makes them promises only to deceive them.
Once the matter has been decided, Shaitan will say: "In fact, thepromises which Allah made to you were all true; I too made somepromises to you but failed to keep any of them. However, I had nopower over you. I just invited you, and you accepted myinvitation. Now! Do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannothelp you, nor you can help me. I reject what you did before; thatyou associated me with Allah. Certainly such wrongdoers will havepainful punishment."
You may try to allure whomsoever you can with your seductivevoice, muster against them all your cavalry and infantry, betheir partner in their riches and their children, and promisethem what you will - the promises of shaitan are nothing butdeception
Remember that when Ibrahim (Abraham) was tested by his Rabb withcertain commands, he fulfilled them. Allah said: "Surely, I willmake you the leader of mankind." "What about my offspring?" AskedIbrahim. "My pledge," said Allah, "will not apply to the evildoers."
But those who rebukes his parents and say: "Uff (as if to say, donot bothering me)! Do you threaten me with a resurrection, whereas many a generations have passed before me and none hascome back from among them?" And they both cry for Allah's helpand say: "Woe to you! Be a good believer. Surely the promise ofAllah is true." But he replies: "This is nothing but tales of theancients."
Such are the people against whom the verdict of torment hasproved true and they will be among the prior people of the jinnsand the men that have passed away before them. Indeed they willbe the losers.
Further, they say: "When will this promise of resurrection cometo pass, if what you say is true?"
In fact what they are waiting for is a single blast, which willseize them while they are yet disputing among themselves in theirworldly affairs.
Then neither they will be able to make a will, nor be able toreturn to their families.
Then a trumpet shall be blown and, behold, they will rise up fromtheir graves and hasten to their Rabb.
They will say: "Oh, Woe to us! Who has raised us up from ourgraves? They will be told: "This is what the Compassionate(Allah) had promised and true was the word of the Rasools."
It will be no more than a single blast, and then they will all begathered before Us.
O mankind! Certainly the promise of Allah is true, therefore letnot the life of this world deceive you nor let the chief deceiver(Satan) deceive you about Allah.
Never think that Allah will break the promise which He made toHis Rasools: surely Allah is Mighty in power, the Lord ofRetribution.
Those who were given the Book before this (Qur'an) did not divideinto sects until after there came to them a clear proof.
- and say, "O my Rabb! I seek refuge in You from the prompting ofthe shaitans,
and O Rabb! I seek refuge in You even from their coming near me."
Say: I seek refuge in the Rabb of the mankind,
the King of mankind,
the real God of mankind,
from the mischief of the slinking whisperers (Shaitan and hisworkers)
who whisper into the hearts of people,
whether he be from among the jinn or from the mankind.
He makes Shaitan's interjections a temptation for those whosehearts suffer from the disease of hypocrisy and whose hearts arehardened - that's why the wrongdoers are in such an extremedissension
Then when their waiting period ends, either keep them honorablyor part with them in an honorable way. Call to witness two honestpersons among you, and O witnesses, bear witness equitably forthe sake of Allah. This advise is being given to all who believein Allah and the last Day. He that fears Allah may be provided away out by Him,
He has only forbidden you to eat carrion (meat of dead a body),blood, pork, and that over which any name other than Allah hasbeen invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, intendingneither to break the Divine Law nor to transgress limits, thensurely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Who is more unjust than he who prevents people from the Masajid(place of worship) of Allah , forbids the mention of His nametherein, and strives to ruin them ? It is not proper for suchpeople to enter in them except with His fear. For them there isdisgrace in this world and grievous punishment in the Hereafter.
so that they may witness the benefits which are made availablehere for them, and pronounce the name of Allah over the cattlewhich We have provided as food for them, on the appointed days, then eat meat themselves and feed the indigent and needy.
So eat of that meat on which Allah's name has been pronounced ifyou truly believe in His revelations.
Why should you not eat that on which Allah's name has beenpronounced, when He has clearly spelled out for you in detailwhat is forbidden - except in a case of extreme helplessness? Infact, many do mislead people by their appetites unchecked byknowledge. Your Rabb knows best those who transgress.
Eschew all sin whether open or secret: surely those who earn sinwill get due punishment for their wrongdoings.
Do not eat of that meat on which Allah's name has not beenpronounced, since that is most surely a transgression. In factthe shaitans inspire their friends that they should argue withyou, and if you obey them, most surely you will be considered amushrik.
They ask you what food is lawful for them, say: All good cleanthings are lawful for you, as well as what you have taught yourhunting birds and beasts to catch, trained by you with theknowledge given to you by Allah. Eat what they catch and hold foryou, however, pronounce the name of Allah over it. Have fear ofAllah. Allah is swift in settling the accounts.
O Muhammad tell them: I did not find in what has been revealed tome anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it,except the meat of an already dead animal, or running blood orthe flesh of swine (pork) - for these are unclean - or flesh ofan animal which has become profane because of slaughtering in thenames other than Allah. Even so, if anyone is forced in ahelpless situation, intending neither disobedience nortransgression, you will find your Rabb Forgiving, Merciful.
Those who are unbelievers from among the people of the Book andfrom the Mushrikin were not going to desist from their unbeliefuntil the clear proof came to them,
that is, a Rasool of Allah reciting to them holy scriptures frompurified pages
containing infallible books.
Those who were given the Book before this (Qur'an) did not divideinto sects until after there came to them a clear proof.
Yet they were commanded nothing but to worship Allah, with theirsincere devotion to Him, being True in their faith; to establishSalah ( prayers); and to pay Zakah (poor due); and that is theinfallible true Religion.
Those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance, after Wehave made it clear in the Book for mankind, will have Allah'scurse and that of those who are entitled to curse;
except those who repent, reform and let the truth be known; I'llaccept their repentance, for I am the Receiver of Repentance, theMerciful.

except those who repent, reform and let the truth be known; I'llaccept their repentance, for I am the Receiver of Repentance, theMerciful.
Can they be like those who have clear revelations from their Rabband to whom a witness from Himself recites it, and they have theBook of Musa before them - a guidance and a blessing? Can suchpeople deny the revelation of Al- Qur'an? No of course not, rather such people will believe in this, but those factions whodo not believe shall have their promised place in the Hellfire. So, O Prophet, do not be in any doubt about it; it is the Truthfrom your Rabb, even though most people do not believe so.
Now there have come to you clear proofs from your Rabb to openyour eyes. Therefore, anyone who will open his eyes, it is goodfor his own soul and anyone who will play blind, it is to his ownharm, and I am the Prophet, not assigned as a keeper over you.
Section 1 He (the Prophet) frowned and turned away
when there came to him the blind man (Ibn Umme Maktum, who cameto the Prophet and interrupted his conversation with the chiefsof Makkah).
How could you tell? He might have sought to purify himself
or become reminded and might have benefited from Our reminder.
As for him who is indifferent,
to whom you were attending;
you will not be held responsible if he would not purify himself.
Yet to him who came to you with zeal on his own
and with fear of Allah in his heart,
you gave no heed.
It should not be so! Indeed, this is but an admonition;
let him who wants, accept it.
During the prayer say: "Rabb! Make my entrance, the entrance withtruth and make my exit, the exit with truth and grant me asupporting authority from your presence;"
Do not misappropriate one another's property unjustly, nor bribethe judges, in order to misappropriate a part of other people'sproperty, sinfully and knowingly.
Do not entrust your property which Allah has made a means ofsupport for your family, to feebleminded people for investment inbusiness, however, provide such people with food and clothing andspeak to them nicely and give them good advice.
O believers! Do not consume one another's wealth through unlawfulmeans; instead, do business with mutual consent; do not killyourselves by adopting unlawful means. Indeed Allah is Mercifulto you.
Give orphans the property which belongs to them when they areable to handle it themselves and do not substitute your worthlessthings for their valuable ones; and do not cheat them of theirpossession through mixing it up with your own. For this wouldindeed be a great sin.
If you fear that you shall not be able to treat the orphans withfairness, then you should not marry the women with orphanchildren; marry other women of your choice: two, three or four. But if you fear that you will not be able to maintain justicebetween your wives, then marry only one or any slave girl you mayown. That will be more suitable , so that you may not deviatefrom the Right Way.
Do not entrust your property which Allah has made a means ofsupport for your family, to feebleminded people for investment inbusiness, however, provide such people with food and clothing andspeak to them nicely and give them good advice.
Observe the orphans through testing their abilities until theyreach the age of marriage, then if you find them capable of soundjudgment, hand over to them their property; and do not consume itwastefully in haste lest they grow up to demand it. If theguardian is well-off, he should not take compensation from theorphan's property, but if he is poor let him take a just andreasonable remuneration. When you hand over their property tothem, call in some witnesses; even though Allah is sufficient intaking the accountability.
In fact, those who misappropriate the property of orphansunjustly, swallow but fire into their bellies; they will soon becast into the blazing fire!
You shall not go near the property of an orphan, except with thegood intention of improving it, until he attains his maturity. You shall fulfill your pledges; surely you shall be heldaccountable for your pledges.

Furthermore, not to go near the property of an orphan except inthe best way (to improve it). Until he attains maturity, givefull measure and just weight - We never charge a soul with morethan it can bear. Whenever you speak, be just, even if it affectsyour own relatives, and fulfill your covenant with Allah. Theseare the things which He has enjoined on you so that you may bemindful.

this world and the hereafter. They ask you about orphans. Tellthem: "It is best to deal with them justly; you may becomeco-partners with them, after all they are your brethren; Allahknows who means harm and also who means their welfare. If Allahhad wanted He could be hard on you in this matter, surely Allahis Mighty, Wise."
