They solemnly swear by Allah that if you command them, they willgo forth leaving their homes. O Muhammad tell them: "Do notswear; your obedience not your oaths will count; surely Allah isfully aware of what you do."
He who turns away from the remembrance (Reminder) of theCompassionate (Allah), We assign a shaitan for him, who becomeshis intimate companion.
They will be asked: "How many years did you live on earth?"
They will reply: "We lived there a day or part of a day; You mayask those who kept the count."
It will be said: "Well, now you know that your stay was just alittle while - what a pity, you did not believe it then!"
Muhammad, the Rasool of Allah, and those with him are strongagainst the unbelievers and compassionate to each other amongthemselves. When you see them, you will find them making Rakuh(bowing down) and Sajud (prostrate in prayers), and craving forthe blessings from Allah and His good pleasure. They have mark ofSajud (prostration) on their foreheads, the traces of theirprostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat (Torah); andtheir similitude in the Injeel (Gospel): they are like the seedwhich puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, then becomesthick and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers of theseed, so that through them He may enrage the unbelievers. Yet tothose of them who will believe and do good deeds, Allah haspromised forgiveness and a great reward.
Those who divorce their wives by Zihar, then wish to retract thewords they uttered, shall have to free a slave before they toucheach other. This is enjoined as a penalty for doing so. Allah iswell-aware of all your actions.
He that has no slave, shall fast two consecutive months beforethey touch each other. He that cannot fast, shall feed sixty poorpeople. This is enjoined so that you may have faith in Allah andHis Rasool. These are the limits set by Allah, and the violatorsshall have a painful punishment.
Fast the prescribed number of days; except if any of you is illor on a journey, let him fast a similar number of days later. Forthose who can not endure it for medical reasons, there is aransom: the feeding of one poor person for each missed day. Butif he feeds more of his own free will, it is better for him.However, if you truly understand the rationale of fasting, it isbetter for you to fast.
It is the month of Ramadhan in which the Qur'an was revealed, aguidance for mankind with clear teachings showing the Right Wayand a criterion of truth and falsehood. Therefore, anyone of youwho witnesses that month should fast therein, and whoever is illor upon a journey shall fast a similar number of days later on.Allah intends your well-being and does not want to put you tohardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period so thatyou should glorify His Greatness and render thanks to Him forgiving you guidance.
Complete the Hajj (obligatory pilgrimage to Makkah) and the Umrah(optional visit to Makkah) for the sake of Allah. If you areprevented from proceeding then send such offering for sacrificeas you can afford and do not shave your head until the offeringshave reached their destination. But if any of you is ill or hasan ailment in his scalp which necessitates shaving, he must payransom either by fasting or feeding the poor or offering asacrifice. If in peacetime anyone wants to take the advantage ofperforming Umrah and Hajj together, he should make an offeringwhich he can afford; but if he lack the means, let him fast threedays during the Hajj and seven days on his return making ten daysin all. This order is for the one whose household is not in theprecincts of the Sacred Mosque. Fear Allah and know that Allah isstrict in retribution.
It is not befitting for a believer to kill a believer except byaccident, and whoever accidently kills a believer, he iscommanded to free a believing slave and pay bloodwit to thefamily of the victim, unless they forgo it as a charity. If thevictim is from a hostile nation, then the freeing of a believingslave is enough, but if he belonged to a nation with whom youhave a treaty, then bloodwit must be paid to his family alongwith the freeing of a believing slave. Those who do not have themeans (bloodwit and or a slave) must fast two consecutive months:a method of repentance provided by Allah. Allah is theKnowledgeable, Wise.
O believers! Do not kill game while you are in Ihram (pilgrimgarb). If anyone kills game intentionally, he will have to pay apenalty through an offering brought to the Ka'bah of a domesticanimal equivalent to the one which was killed as determined bytwo just men among you; or as an expiation, either feed a fewindigent or fast their equivalent days, so that he may taste theevil consequences of what he did. Allah has forgiven whathappened in the past; but if anyone repeats it now, Allah willinflict retribution on him. Allah is Mighty, Capable ofRetribution.

O believers! Retaliation is prescribed for you in the cases ofmurder: a free man for a free man, a slave for a slave, and afemale for a female. But if anyone is pardoned by his aggrievedbrother, then bloodwit (a ransom for manslaughter) should bedecided according to the common law and payment should be madewith gratitude. This is a concession and a mercy from your Rabb.Now, whoever exceeds the limits after this, shall have a painfulpunishment.
You shall not kill anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except forjust cause under the law. If anyone is killed unjustly, We havegranted the right of retribution to his heir, but let him notcarry his vengeance too far in killing the culprit through takingthe law in his own hands, as he is supported by the law.
Let those women, during their waiting period ('Iddat), live whereyou yourselves live according to your means. You shall not harassthem so as to make life intolerable for them. If they arepregnant, maintain them until their delivery: and if, after that,they suckle your offspring, compensate them and settle the matterof compensation with mutual consultation and in all fairness. Butif you cannot bear with each other then let another woman sucklethe baby for you.
Let the rich man give according to his means, and the poor mangive according to what Allah has given him. Allah does not chargea man with more than He has given him; soon Allah may bring easeafter hardship.
Do not envy that Allah has given some of you more than theothers. Men will be rewarded according to their deeds and womenwill be rewarded according to theirs. Ask Allah for His grace.Surely Allah has perfect knowledge of everything.
O mankind, you have been distracted by the rivalry of piling upworldly gains against one another.
You will never be satisfied until you get into the grave.
Nevertheless, soon you shall come to know.
Again, nevertheless, soon you shall come to know.
Nay! Would that you knew through the real knowledge provided toyou in this Qur'an and care about your life in the Hereafter.
Because on the Day of Judgement when you shall see the hell,
and see it with the certainty of your own eyes
- you shall believe it, but that belief is going to do you nogood because - on that Day, you shall be questioned about theblessings (faculties and resources that you were given in theworldly life - as to how you used them?)
O believers! Be patient, excel in patience during confrontation,hold yourselves ready for battle and have fear of Allah so thatyou may succeed.
Rush towards the forgiveness from your Rabb to a Paradise as vastas the Heavens and the earth which is prepared for the righteouspeople;
Everyone has a direction towards which he turns, therefore,emulate one another in good deeds. Wherever you are, Allah willbring all of you together; Allah has power over all things.
Hajj is in the well known months. He who undertakes to perform itmust abstain from husband-wife relationship, obscene language,and wrangling during Hajj. Whatever good you do, Allah knows it.Take necessary provisions with you for the journey, and piety isthe best provision of all. Fear Me, O people endowed withunderstanding.
To you, O Muhammad, We have revealed this Book with the truth. Itconfirms whatever has remained intact in the scriptures whichcame before it and also to safeguard it. Therefore, judge betweenpeople according to Allah's revelations and do not yield to theirvain desires diverging from the truth which has come to you. Wehave ordained a law and a Way of life for each of you. If Allahwanted He could have made all of you a single nation. But Hewilled otherwise in order to test you in what He has given you;therefore try to excel one another in good deeds. Ultimately youall shall return to Allah; then He will show you the truth ofthose matters in which you dispute.
Surely those who live cautiously for fear of their Rabb,
who believe in the revelations of their Rabb;
who do not commit shirk with their Rabb,
who give to charity whatever they can give, and their hearts arefull of fear by the very idea that they shall have to return totheir Rabb,
it is they who rush in doing good deeds and try to be the firstin attaining them.
Rush towards the forgiveness from your Rabb to a Paradise as vastas the Heavens and the earth which is prepared for the righteouspeople;
Therefore, hastenly strive for the forgiveness of your Rabb andfor the paradise which is as vast as the heaven and the earth,prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Rasools. Such isthe grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He pleases, andAllah is the Owner of mighty grace.

The Qariah!
What is the Qariah?
And what will explain to you what the Qariah is?
It is that Day when men shall be like scattered moths
and the mountains like colorful carded wool.
On that Day, he whose scale of good deeds is heavy,
shall live a pleasant luxurious life.
But he whose scale of good deeds is light
Then they should accomplish their needful acts of shaving orcutting their hair and taking a bath, fulfill their vows and gofor Tawaf-e-Ziyarah to the Ancient House.
Establish Salah ( prayers) at the two ends of the day and in theearly part of the night. Indeed virtues remove evils. This is areminder for the mindful.
O Muhammad! These people have tried to entice you from Ourrevelations, hoping that you might fabricate something in Ourname. Had you done that, they would have made you their friend.
Had We not strengthened your faith, you might have made somecompromise with them.
In such a case We would have given you double punishment in thislife and in the life hereafter. Then you would have found nohelper against Our wrath.
When any giant wave covers them like a canopy, they pray to Allahwith all devotion making their faith pure for Him. But when Hedelivers them safely to land, some of them falter between beliefand unbelief. None reject Our revelations except the treacherousand the ungrateful.
You are forbidden to eat the meat of any animal that dies byitself (dead body), blood, the flesh of swine (pork) and that onwhich any name other than Allah has been invoked; also that whichis strangled to death , killed by a violent blow, killed by aheadlong fall and of those beaten or gored to death; and thatwhich has been partly eaten by a wild animal unless you are ableto slaughter it before its death; also that which is sacrificedon altars or is divided by raffling of arrows. All these aresinful acts. Today the unbelievers have given up all their hopeof vanquishing your religion. Have no fear of them, fear Me.Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favorupon you and approved Al-Islam as a Deen (way of life for you).Anyone who is compelled by hunger to eat what is forbidden, notintending to commit sin, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.
He has forbidden you to eat dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine,and that on which any name other than Allah has been invoked; butif someone is compelled by absolute necessity, intending neitherto sin nor to transgress, he shall incur no sin. Surely Allah isForgiving, Merciful.

Why should you not eat that on which Allah's name has beenpronounced, when He has clearly spelled out for you in detailwhat is forbidden - except in a case of extreme helplessness? Infact, many do mislead people by their appetites unchecked byknowledge. Your Rabb knows best those who transgress.
Eschew all sin whether open or secret: surely those who earn sinwill get due punishment for their wrongdoings.
O Muhammad tell them: I did not find in what has been revealed tome anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it,except the meat of an already dead animal, or running blood orthe flesh of swine (pork) - for these are unclean - or flesh ofan animal which has become profane because of slaughtering in thenames other than Allah. Even so, if anyone is forced in ahelpless situation, intending neither disobedience nortransgression, you will find your Rabb Forgiving, Merciful.
He has only forbidden you to eat carrion (meat of dead a body),blood, pork, and that over which any name other than Allah hasbeen invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, intendingneither to break the Divine Law nor to transgress limits, thensurely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
There is no compulsion in religion. True guidance has been madeclearly distinct from error. Therefore, whoever renounce 'Taghut'(forces of Shaitan) and believes in Allah has grasped the firmhand-hold that will never break. Allah, Whose hand-hold you havegrasped, hears all and knows all.
It is not possible for anyone to believe except by the permissionof Allah, and He throws filth on those who do not use theircommon-sense.
Serve Allah and do not commit shirk (associate any partner) withHim, and be good to your parents, kinfolks, orphans, thehelpless, near and far neighbors who keep company with you, thetravellers in need, and the slaves you own. Allah does not lovethose who are arrogant and boastful,
who are themselves stingy and enjoin others to be stingy, whohide the bounties which Allah has bestowed on them. For suchunbelievers We have prepared a disgraceful punishment.
Similarly, Allah does not like those who spend their wealth toshow off to the people, believing neither in Allah nor in theLast Day. In fact the one who chooses Shaitan as his companionhas chosen a very evil companion!
Those who do not expect to meet Us on the Day of Judgement say:"Why are not the angels sent down to us or why do we not see ourRabb?" Certainly they are too proud of themselves, and haverevolted in a great revolt.
On the Day when they see the angels, it will not be a Day ofrejoicing for the criminal; rather they will cry: "May there be astone barrier between us and the angels of punishment."
Then We shall turn to the deeds which they did, based on theirwrong opinions, and render them vain like blown dust.
There is no virtue in most of the secret counsels of the people;it is, however, good if one secretly enjoins charity, kindness,and reconciliation among people; the one who does this to pleaseAllah, will soon be given a mighty reward.
Today all good clean things have been made lawful for you; andthe food of the People of the Book is also made lawful for youand your food is made lawful for them. Likewise, marriage withchaste free believing women and also chaste women among thePeople who were given the Book before you is made lawful for you,provided that you give them their dowries and desire chastity,neither committing fornication nor taking them as mistresses.Anyone who commits Kufr with Iman (rejects faith), all his gooddeeds will be in vain and in the Hereafter he will be one of thelosers.
Allah does not burden any human being with more than he can bear.Everyone will enjoy the credit of his deeds and suffer the debitsof his evil-doings.The believers say: "Our Rabb! Do notpunish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Rabb! Do not placeon us a burden as You placed on those before us. Our Rabb! Laynot on us the kind of burden that we have no strength to bear.Pardon us, Forgive us, Have mercy on us. You are our Protector,help us against the unbelievers."
Each person has been assigned guardian angels before him andbehind him, who watch him by the command of Allah. The fact isthat Allah never changes the condition of a people until theyintend to change it themselves. If Allah wants to afflict apeople with misfortune, none can ward it off, nor they can findany protector besides Him.
When those who believe in Our revelations come to you, say:"Peace be upon you. Your Rabb has decreed mercy upon Himself. Ifanyone among you commits evil because of ignorance and thereafterrepents and mends his ways; you will find Allah Forgiving,Merciful."
O children of Adam! Whenever there come to you Rasools from amongyou and recite to you My revelations, those who will becomerighteous and mend their ways will have nothing to fear or toregret;
But whoever repents after committing the crime and reforms hisconduct, Allah will surely turn to him with forgiveness. Allah isForgiving, Merciful.
Allah says: "O My servants who have transgressed against theirsouls, do not despair of Allah's mercy, for Allah forgives allsins. It is He Who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Turn in repentance to your Rabb, and submit to Him before therecomes to you the scourge: for then, there shall be none to helpyou.
It is He Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardonstheir sins, and He knows whatever you do.
Let there arise from among you a band of people who should inviteto righteousness, enjoin good and forbid evil; such are the oneswho shall be successful.
You are the best nation which has ever been raised for theguidance of mankind. You enjoin good, forbid evil, and believe inAllah. Had the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) believed,it would surely have been better for them; among them some arebelievers but most of them are transgressors.
Show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant.
they believe in Allah and the Last Day they enjoin good andforbid evil and rush in emulating each other in good deeds. Theseare the righteous people.
Would you ask others to be righteous and forget to practice ityourselves? Even though you read your Holy Book? Have you nosense?
The One Who created death and life, so that He may put you totest, to find out which of you is best in deeds: He is theAll-Mighty, the All-Forgiving.
It is Allah Who has revealed this Book (Al-Qur'an) with thetruth, and the Balance (to distinguish between right and wrong).What will make you realize that perhaps the hour of doom may befast approaching.
Whatever you are given is nothing but a provision for thetransitory life of this world, better and ever lasting is thereward which Allah has for those who believe, put their trust intheir Rabb,
avoid major sins and shameful deeds, forgive even when they areangry;
answer the call of their Rabb, establish Salah, conduct theiraffairs with mutual consultation, spend out of the sustenancewhich We have given them,
O believers! Remember the favor of Allah, which he bestowed onyou, when you were attacked by your enemy's army (during thebattle of Trench/Confederates) and We unleashed against themviolent winds and invisible forces. Allah saw all that you weredoing.
When the true believers saw the confederate forces they said:"This is what Allah and His Rasool had promised us: Allah and hisRasool were absolutely true." This increased them all the more intheir faith and their zeal in obedience.
O believers! When you want to consult the Rasool in private,offer something in charity before your consultation, that is bestand purest for you. But if you lack the means, know that Allah isOft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Do you hesitate to give out in charity before your privateconsultation with him? If you cannot afford it - Allah willforgive you - so establish Salah and pay Zakah, and obey Allahand His Rasool. Allah is well aware of all your actions.
Whenever they hear news of peace or of danger, they spread itquickly; but if they would report it to the Rasool and to theresponsible people in the community, it would come to theknowledge of those who could draw the right conclusions. If ithad not been for Allah's grace and mercy, all of you with theexception of a few, would have followed Shaitan.
