وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Walaqad akha th n a a la firAAawna bi al ssineena wanaq s in mina a l ththamar a ti laAAallahum ya thth akkaroon a And most certainly did We overwhelm Pharaoh's people with drought and scarcity of fruits, so that they might take it to heart.
