Allah is Lenient, Forgiving.

And when he leaves you, he directs his efforts towards causingmischief in the land, destroying crops and cattle. Allah, Whom hemakes his witness, does not like mischief.

When it is said to him "Fear Allah," arrogance carries him off tosin. Hell will be the proper place for such a person, which isindeed an evil refuge.

But if they turn away from accepting this challenge, it will beclear proof of their mischief and Allah has the full knowledge ofmischief-makers.

The Jews say: Allah's hand is tied up! - Nay! Their own handswill be tied up and they will be cursed for what they utter. Bothof His hands are free; However, He spends as He pleases. The factis that the revelations that have come to you from Allah willsurely make many of them increase in their wickedness andunbelief. We have stirred among them enmity and hatred till theDay of Resurrection. Every time they kindle the fire of war,Allah extinguishes it. Now they are striving to spread mischiefin the land. Allah does not love those who do mischief.

Do not create mischief in the land after it has been set inorder. Pray to Him with fear and hope. Surely the mercy of Allahis always close to those who do good to others.

Then after them, We sent Musa (Moses) with Our revelations toFir'on (Pharaoh) and his chiefs but they too treated Ourrevelations unjustly, so see what was the end of thosemischief-makers.

As for those who break their covenant with Allah after confirmingit and cut asunder what Allah has commanded to be joined andcreate mischief in the land, they are the ones on whom thereshall be a curse and they are the ones who will have a terriblehome.

Rather seek, by means of what Allah has given you, to attain theabode of the hereafter, while not neglecting your share in thisworld. Be good to others as Allah has been good to you, and donot seek mischief in the land, for Allah does not love themischief makers."

The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and HisRasool and strive to create mischief in the land is death orcrucifixion or the cutting off their hands and feet from oppositesides or exile from the land based on the gravity of theiroffense. This will be their humiliation in this world and in theHereafter they will have grievous punishment,

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment in the Hereafter.Therefore, fear Allah! O men of understanding and faith. Allahhas indeed sent down to you an admonition;

Allah does not mind using the similitude of a gnat or an evenmore insignificant creature to teach a lesson. Those who believeknow that it is the truth from their Rabb; but the unbelieverssay: "What does Allah mean by such a similitude?" By such asimilitude Allah confounds many and enlightens many. He confoundsnone except the transgressors:

The unbelievers say to the believers: "Follow us, and we willbear the burden of your sins". But they will not bear any burdenof their sins; they are surely lying.

Of course, they shall bear their own burdens as well as theburdens of others in addition to their own; and on the Day ofResurrection they shall be questioned about their invented lies.

Among the people there are some who purchase frivolous tales sothat they may lead people away from the Way of Allah, without anyknowledge, and take the invitation to the Right Way as a mockery.For such people there will be a humiliating punishment.

When some trouble befalls man, he cries to his Rabb and turns toHim in repentance; but no sooner does He bestow on him His favorthan he forgets what he has prayed for and sets up rivals toAllah, thus misleading others from His Way. Tell such people:"Enjoy your unbelief for a little while; certainly you will be ofthe inmates of hellfire."
38 : 60
The followers shall say to their miss guided leaders: "But you!There is no welcome for you either! It was you who have broughtus to this end. Such an evil abode."

Then they will pray: "Our Rabb, inflict on those who brought thisfate upon us double punishment in the fire."
