Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 86, Hadith 6793
حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ حَدَّثَتْهُمْ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يُقْطَعُ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ ".
Narrated By 'Aisha : The Prophet said, "The hand should be cut off for stealing a quarter of a Dinar."
