They are the ones who will be given their reward twice, becausethey have endured with fortitude, repelling evil with good andgiving in charity out of what We have given them.
No bearer of a burden will bear another's burden, and if a heavyladen person cries out for help, none will come forward to sharethe least of his burden, even though he be a close relative. OProphet! You can only admonish those who fear their Rabb - thoughthey cannot see Him - and establish Salah. He that purifieshimself does so for his own good. To Allah is the destination ofall.
Let there arise from among you a band of people who should inviteto righteousness, enjoin good and forbid evil; such are the oneswho shall be successful.
O believers! Do not consume one another's wealth through unlawfulmeans; instead, do business with mutual consent; do not killyourselves by adopting unlawful means. Indeed Allah is Mercifulto you.
Anyone who commits such acts of aggression and injustice willsoon be thrown into hellfire, and this is very easy for Allah todo.
By rejecting the Divine Law do they wish to be judged by the lawsof ignorance? Who is a better Judge than Allah for those whobelieve in Him?
Say: "We believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us; andwhat was revealed to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq(Isaac), Ya'qoob (Jacob) and their descendants, and that whichwas given to Musa (Moses), Isa (Jesus) and other Prophets fromtheir Rabb. We do not discriminate any of them, and to Allah wehave surrendered ourselves (in Islam)."
Then in the footsteps of those Prophets, We sent Isa (Jesus) theson of Maryam (Mary) confirming whatever remained intact from theTaurat in his time, and gave him the Injeel (Gospel) wherein wasguidance and light, corroborating what was revealed in theTaurat; a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.
Therefore, let the people who follow the Injeel (Gospel) judge bythe Law which Allah has revealed therein; those who do not judgeby the Law which Allah has revealed, they are the transgressors.

Indeed Allah has purchased from the believers their persons andtheir wealth and in return has promised them paradise; they fightin the cause of Allah and slay and are slain. This is a truepromise which is binding on Him mentioned in Taurat (Torah), theInjeel (Gospel) and the Qur'an; and who is more true infulfilling his promise than Allah? Rejoice, therefore, in thebargain which you have made, and that is a mighty achievement.
Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield smitetheir necks and, when you have thoroughly subdued them, then takeprisoners of war and bind them firmly. After the war lay down herburdens, then you have the choice whether you show them favor oraccept ransom. Thus are you commanded. If Allah wanted, HeHimself could have punished them; but He adopted this way so thatHe may test some of you by means of others. As for those who areslain in the cause of Allah, He will never let their deeds belost.
There is no blame on you if you seek the bounty of your Rabbduring this journey. When you return from Arafat (stop atMuzdalifah and) praise Allah near Mash'ar-il-Haram. Praise Him asHe has guided you, for before this you were from the people whohad lost the Right Way.
Say: "It is the grace and mercy of Allah (that He has sent thisQur'an), so let the people rejoice over it, for it is better than(the worldly riches) they are collecting."
It is He Who has subjected the sea to your service, that you mayeat fresh meat therefrom and that you may bring out of itornaments to wear; and you see that ships plough their coursethrough it. He has done all this so that you may seek His bountyand so that you may pay thanks to Him.
We have made the night and the day as two signs. We enshroudedthe night with darkness and gave light to the day, to enable youto seek the bounty of your Rabb, and that you may compute theyears and count the numbers. Thus, We have set forth all thingsin detail.
Your Rabb is the One Who drives your ships across the ocean, sothat you may seek His bounty; indeed He is ever Merciful to you.
Of His signs is that He sends the winds as bearers of good news, and that He may let you taste His blessing, and your ships maysail by His command, and that you may seek of His bounty, andthat you may be grateful.
The two bodies of water, of which one is sweet and pleasant todrink and the other is salty and bitter, are not alike. Yet fromeach kind of water you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments whichyou wear; and you see the ships plough their course through themto seek the bounty of Allah, that you may be grateful.
It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, so that ships maysail upon it by His command, and that you may seek His bounty andbe grateful to Him.
Muhammad, the Rasool of Allah, and those with him are strongagainst the unbelievers and compassionate to each other amongthemselves. When you see them, you will find them making Rakuh(bowing down) and Sajud (prostrate in prayers), and craving forthe blessings from Allah and His good pleasure. They have mark ofSajud (prostration) on their foreheads, the traces of theirprostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat (Torah); andtheir similitude in the Injeel (Gospel): they are like the seedwhich puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, then becomesthick and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers of theseed, so that through them He may enrage the unbelievers. Yet tothose of them who will believe and do good deeds, Allah haspromised forgiveness and a great reward.
When you finish the Salah, then disperse through the land andseek the bounty of Allah (go back to your normal business).Remember Allah frequently, so that you may prosper.
If anyone from the mushrikin ask you for asylum, grant it to himso that he may hear the Word of Allah, and then escort him to hisplace of safety: this should be done because these people do notknow the truth.
Likewise in the fruits of the date-palm and the grapes, fromwhich you derive intoxicants and wholesome food, certainly thereis a sign for those people who use their common sense.
It would have been better for them, if they had only been pleasedwith what Allah and His Rasool had given them and said: "Allah isall-sufficient to us! Soon Allah will give us of His bounty, andso will His Rasool. Indeed to Allah do we turn our hopes."
We have enjoined man to treat his parents with kindness. Withmuch trouble his mother bore him, and much pain did she give himbirth. His bearing and his weaning took thirty months. When hereaches the age of full strength and becomes forty years old, hesays: "My Rabb! Grant me the grace that I may thank you for thefavors which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and thatI may do good deeds that will please You, and grant me goodchildren. Surely I turn to You in repentance and surely I am ofthose who are Muslims."
Such are the people from whom We shall accept the best of theirdeeds and overlook their misdeeds. They shall be among theresidents of paradise: true is the promise that has been made tothem in this life.
We taught him the armor's craft, so that they might protect youin your wars: yet are you ever grateful?
We are the One Who established you on earth, and provided youmeans of your sustenance therein: yet little it is that you paythanks.
Do they not see that among the other things which Our hands havefashioned, We have created cattle which are under theirdomination?
We have subjected these animals to them, that they may ride onsome and eat the flesh of others,
in them there are other advantages and drinks (milk) for them.Should they not then be grateful?
Allah has made your homes the place for your rest, and animalskins for tents like houses so that you may find them light whenyou travel and easy to pitch when you stop; while from theirwool, fur, and hair He provides you household items and articlesof convenience for your prescribed term of life.
Allah has provided you shades from the sun out of what He hascreated. He has granted you resorts in the mountains, has grantedyou garments to protect yourselves from heat; and coats of armorto protect you during your wars. Thus He completes his favors toyou, so that you may become Muslims.
It is He Who has given the best form to everything that He hascreated. He originated the creation of man from clay;
then automated the creation of his progeny by an extract of adespicable water;
then He fashioned him in due proportion and breathed into him ofHis spirit. He gave you ears, eyes and heart; yet you are seldomthankful.
Say: "It is He Who has brought you into being, gave you thefaculties of hearing, seeing, feeling and understanding: yet youare seldom thankful."
It is out of His mercy that He has made for you the night thatyou may rest in it, and the day that you may seek His bounty, sothat you may render thanks.
If it be Our Will, We could turn it salty. Why then do you notgive thanks?

Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when youknew nothing, and He gave you hearing, sight and intelligence sothat you may give thanks to Him.
It is Allah Who has given you ears, eyes and hearts - yet seldomyou show gratitude

Why should Allah punish you if you are grateful and a truebeliever? Allah knows the grateful.
It is Allah Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop,then He made you pairs. No female conceives or delivers withoutHis knowledge. No long-lived man grows old or has his life cutshort but is written in a Book; surely all this is easy forAllah.

We have included the sacrificial camels among the Symbols ofAllah, for there is much good for you in them. Therefore, pronounce the name of Allah over them while standing, and whenthey fall down on their sides after slaughter, when theirmovement completely stops, then eat of their meat, feed thecontented (poor who do not ask) and the beggars (poor who ask). Thus We have subjected these animals to you so that you may begrateful.

They also say: "Why is this Qur'an not revealed to a man of greatimportance in the two towns (Makkah and Ta'if)"?
Is it they who distribute the blessings of your Rabb? It is WeWho distribute the means of their livelihood in the life of thisworld, raising some in rank above others, so that one may takeothers into his service. But the blessing of your Rabb is fargreater in value than the wealth of this world which they amass.
Greedily you lay your hands on the inheritance of the weak,
Leave Me and the one (Walid bin Mughirah, a staunch opponent ofthe Prophet) whom I created, alone.
I gave him abundant resources,
thriving sons,
and made his life smooth and comfortable.
Yet he hopes that I shall give him more.
By no means! Because he has stubbornly denied Our revelations.
Soon I shall make him suffer mounting calamities,
surely he pondered and devised a plot.
May he perish, how he plotted!
Again, may he perish, how he plotted!
He looked around,
frowned and scowled,
then he turned his back in scornful pride
and said: "This is nothing but counterfeited magic,
this is nothing but the word of a human being."
Soon I shall cast him into Saqar.
What will make you understand, what Saqar is?
It is burning fire which leaves nothing and spares none.
It shrivels human flesh.
It is guarded by nineteen guards.
Neither yield to any mean oath-monger,
mischief making slanderer,
opponent of good, transgressor,
wicked oppressor, and above all, ignoble by birth,
though he be possessing wealth and children.
When Our revelations are recited to him , he says: "They arenothing but the tales of the ancient."
Soon We shall brand him on the snout.
When those who believe in Our revelations come to you, say:"Peace be upon you. Your Rabb has decreed mercy upon Himself. Ifanyone among you commits evil because of ignorance and thereafterrepents and mends his ways; you will find Allah Forgiving,Merciful."
There is no blame on the blind, nor there is blame on the lame, nor there is blame on the sick, to eat at your table. Nor shallit be an offence for you to eat in the houses of your ownchildren, or your fathers, or your mothers, or your brothers, oryour sisters, or your paternal uncles, or your paternal aunts, oryour maternal uncles, or your maternal aunts, or your sincerefriends, or in houses with the keys of which you are entrusted. There is no blame on you whether you eat together or apart;however, when you enter the houses, you should greet one anotherwith the greeting of peace prescribed by Allah blessed and pure. Thus Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you maygrow in understanding.
When anyone greets you in a courteous manner, let your greetingsbe better than his - or at least return the same. Allah keepsaccount of everything.
Yet when a new born-girl - the gender that they ascribe to theCompassionate - is announced to one of them, his face darkens andhe is filled with grief.
O Rasool! Do not grieve for those who plunge headlong intounbelief; those who say with their tongues: We believe, but haveno faith in their hearts; and do not grieve for those Jews, wholisten to lies and spy for other people who had never come toyou. They tamper with the words of Allah and take them out oftheir context and say: "If you are given such and suchcommandment, accept it; but if it is other than this, reject it."If Allah intends to put anyone to trial, you have no authority inthe least to save him from Allah. Such people are those whosehearts Allah does not desire to purify; they will havehumiliation in this world and a grievous punishment in theHereafter.
That is because they listen to falsehood and eat what isforbidden. Therefore, if they come to you with their cases, youmay judge between them or refuse to do so. Even if you refuse, they will not be able to harm you the least, but if you do act asa judge, judge between them with fairness, for Allah loves thosewho judge with fairness.

Surely, the seizure of your Rabb is very severe.
Those deities will answer: "Glory be to You! It was not befittingfor us that we could take any guardian besides You, but You letthem and their forefathers enjoy the comforts of worldly lifeuntil they forgot the Reminder, and thereby became worthlesspeople."
And the earth, how We have spread it out and set upon itmountains and caused to grow in it every kind of beautifulvegetation.
All these things are eye-openers and a reminder for every servantreturning to Allah.
We send down blessed water from the sky with which We bring forthgardens and the harvest grain,
It is He Who has created you from dust, then from a sperm, thenfrom a leechlike mass, then He delivers you from the womb of yourmother as a child, then He makes you grow to reach the age offull strength, then He makes you grow to reach an old age -though some of you die earlier - so that you may complete yourappointed term and grow in wisdom.
