Surah 7. Al-A'raf, Ayah 120
| وَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ |
| Asad | : | And down fell the sorcerers,90 prostrating themselves |
| Malik | : | and the sorcerers, since they were professionals and knew that it was not sorcery, fell down in prostration, |
| Pickthall | : | And the wizards fell down prostrate, |
| Yusuf Ali | : | But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. |
| Transliteration | : | Waolqiya alssaharatu sajideena |
Note - 90Lit., "the sorcerers were thrown down" - i.e., they fell
to the ground as if thrown by a superior force
(Zamakhshari).
