Surah 4. An-Nisaa, Ayah 120
| يَعِدُهُمْ وَيُمَنِّيهِمْ ۖ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا |
| Asad | : | he holds out promises to them, and fills them with vain desires: yet whatever Satan promises them is but meant to delude the mind.142 |
| Malik | : | Shaitan makes promises to stir up in them false desires; but Shaitan makes them promises only to deceive them. |
| Pickthall | : | He promiseth them and stirreth up desires in them, and Satan promiseth them only to beguile. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | Satan makes them promises and creates in them false desires; but Satan's promises are nothing but deception. |
| Transliteration | : | YaAAiduhum wayumanneehim wama yaAAiduhumu alshshaytanu illa ghurooran |
