Surah 26. Ash-Shu'araa, Ayah 44
| فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ |
| Asad | : | Thereupon they threw their [magic] ropes and their staffs, and said: "By Pharaoh's might, behold, it is we indeed who have prevailed!"23 |
| Malik | : | Thereupon they cast down their ropes and staffs, saying: "By the glory of Fir'on, we shall be the winners." |
| Pickthall | : | Then they threw down their cords and their staves and said: By Pharaoh's might, lo! we verily are the winners. |
| Yusuf Ali | : | So they threw their ropes and their rods and said: "By the might of Pharaoh it is we who will certainly win!" 3163 |
| Transliteration | : | Faalqaw hibalahum waAAisiyyahum waqaloo biAAizzati firAAawna inna lanahnu alghaliboona |
